The DOI Office of Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution (CADR) is pleased to announce a new training webinar on Facilitating Virtual Meetings developed through a collaborative effort between the DOI CADR, USGS Office of Organizational Development, BLM National Training Center, and the Cispus Institute. Also provided is the accompanying document, Facilitating Virtual Meetings Toolkit.

This webinar touches on five essentials you need to know for facilitating an effective and engaging virtual meeting:

  • the critical preparatory steps in planning your meeting,
  • core facilitation techniques,
  • strategies for engaging participants in a virtual environment,
  • troubleshooting when things go awry, and
  • wrapping up the meeting.
