Every year, Americans come together on the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, a day of national service and dialogue to honor the memory of Dr. King; it is a way to transform Dr. King’s life and teachings into community service that helps empower and strengthen local communities. From hosting an educational or interpretive program to leading a service project or simply recognizing exceptional volunteers in your community, there are many ways to celebrate MLK Day.
