What We Do
The NPS Law Enforcement Security, and Emergency Services (LESES) program aims to fulfill the mission of the National Park Service by preventing criminal activities, detecting and investigating criminal activity, and apprehending and successfully prosecuting criminal violators. By fulfilling these objectives, the NPS law enforcement program aims to protect the ecological health and integrity of protected natural and cultural resources and create an atmosphere of public safety and enjoyment.
