Whether it’s a wayside or a website, Interpretive Media helps us connect with visitors 24/7, 365. Designing powerful non-personal services experiences can be hard, but is one of the most crucial parts of our work. Almost every park visitor encounters some form of interpretive media before their visit is over.

Making Media Work

The IDP is constantly working on ways to sharpen your media skills, from formal classes to a bevy of self-paced learning tools.

Our keystone courses, Digital Media for Interpreters and Park-Produced Media can help take you from zero to hero. But you can take yourself along the path too. Interpretive Media is a great place to experiment, try new ideas and launch prototypes for new communication.
