Program Description

Museums within the National Park Service manage over 40 million items and 50,000 linear feet of archives, preserved as a legacy for the American people. These objects, specimens, and documents, collected because of their relation to some of our country’s most special places, create an unparalleled embodiment of our landscapes, natural resources, and shared cultural history
