  1. The Teaching Tolerance website can be a valuable tool for Interpreters and Educators who are engaging audiences with social justice-oriented goals. In particular, the Student Tasks link under the Classroom Resources tab provides you with ideas for both action tasks and writing tasks that could serve as insightful, effective pop-ups in an audience-centered experience.


  2. I’m looking at these standards and can’t help but think, “Do our adult visitors even come close to meeting some of these?” I don’t think so. These standards could be a great jumping off point to create Audience-centered dialogues, tours, and programs for visitors of all ages and especially families or inter generational groups.
