Overview
The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) was founded in 1941 and is dedicated to applying the study and understanding of human behavior to contemporary issues. Members range from academics to professionals, and represent a range of disciplines, such as anthropology, sociology, planning, medicine, business, etc. – essentially any field that can infuse practice with the application of human behavior. The unifying factor is a commitment to making an impact on the quality of life in the world.
