Society for Applied Anthropology


The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) was founded in 1941 and is dedicated to applying the study and understanding of human behavior to contemporary issues. ┬áMembers range from academics to professionals, and represent a range of disciplines, such as anthropology, sociology, planning, medicine, business, etc. – essentially any field that can infuse practice with the application of human behavior.┬áThe unifying factor is a commitment to making an impact on the quality of life in the world.
