Interpretive Media Design Principles

The Principles of Design Handout (PDF, updated March, 2017) provides a list of design principles, elements, considerations and best practices for creating or evaluating interpretive media.

In addition to commonly accepted principles of design, the handout also contains best practices for graphics selection and composition, and text and typography, and how to use these elements for interpretive effectiveness.

These principles are general, and need to be considered in the context of specific media products.
