Overview
This Workshopping Our Questions Lesson Plan [PDF] helps interpretive trainees examine the qualities of good dialogic, ORACLE questions, using sample questions they develop themselves.
This lesson plan was developed for the Forging Connections Through Audience Centered Experiences classroom training. You can use or adapt it for seasonal training or other park interpretive training and it will be useful at all developmental levels.
Objectives
At the end of the session students should be able to:
- Write dialogic questions for which the only right answer comes from the lived
experience of their audience (ORACLE) - Identify which questions are didactic, not dialogic
- Identify questions that are generative and enriching
