The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has identified five Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) in building a federal corporate culture.  The ECQs define the competencies needed to build a culture that drives for results, serves customers, and builds successful teams and coalitions within and outside the organization. The learning and development team uses this framework to help learners identify skills sets, assess proficiency,and provide resources and activities to meet learning needs.

Notwithstanding positional authority, leadership occurs at all levels of the organization. We all possess the capacity for leadership, yet only those who cultivate it will ever become truly effective leaders. Therefore, in order to maximize your potential in your current and future role, the learning and development team will be adding pages and activities each month.
