California Garden & Landscape History Society


The California Garden and Landscape History Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating the beauty of California’s historic gardens and landscapes. Additionally, the organization seeks to promote wider knowledge, preservation and restoration of California’s historic gardens and landscapes. The organization maintains a website that provides links to other resources as well as basic information related to gardens and landscapes. The society is an interdisciplinary group; their membership includes landscape architects, scholars, garden directors, designers, historians, preservationists, writers, librarians, educators, government professionals, and, of course, passionate gardeners and plant lovers.
