Overview
This “Rethinking Content – Four Truths” lesson plan [PDF] takes learners – both those new to audience centered experiences and those versed in the concepts – through an investigation of the many sources of content and the idea of the Four Truths. It is targeted at a seasonal audience, though it will be useful at all developmental levels.
Objectives
At the end of the session trainees should be able to:
- Identify the 4 kinds of truths and explore examples for a particular topic.
- Explain how including and acknowledging multiple truths can help meet the 3-fold goals of interpretation.
- Illustrate how visitors can contribute to the content of the interpretive experience.
