Prepare for Launch
The Common Learning Portal (CLP) was announced to the NPS workforce as a part of NPS Founders’ Day celebrations on August 25, 2016. Since then, the learning community has grown by leaps and bounds. We’ve listened to your feedback and incorporated your ideas to make technical improvements.
Because of the pilot test restrictions that allow only employees with PIV cards to access it, the CLP has only been available to a limited audience – until now!
- Today, volunteers, partners, and others outside our firewall have access to much of the NPS learning that the CLP provides.
- Availability outside the firewall also enables a workforce that uses mobile devices such as iPads or smartphones to access CLP content – anytime and from any location with cellular or Wi-Fi access.
Today (September 13, 2018), the Common Learning Portal is available anytime you have an internet connection (even outside the firewall). You’re truly able to learn “any place…any time.”
