The foundation of a new NPS career

In this learning activity, participants will learn the types of pruning, proper cuts, timing, and basic tools required in preservation horticulture pruning.
This course presents an overview of law and policy, illuminates the historical context for pertinent court cases, and showcases skills often required to execute historic preservation projects in the wilderness.
Series participants will learn from experts about the implications of climate change with a regional focus added for Central Florida and the Sunshine State.
The Future Leaders Program is ten months of intensive learning and development, and application of the learning. Participants attend 4 week-long residential opportunities exploring various aspects of supervision and leadership.
